How We Work
Recruitment and Onboarding
We have a rigorous recruitment and onboarding process that helps us to hire only the very best staff. Our recruitment process is completely virtual; hence you can complete it from the comfort of your own home, and we’ll support you every step of the way.
Online Application Form – 01
We start with a quick and secured online application form. We ask for your contact details, previous work experience, and contacts for references. Following this, we’ll ask you for additional details; such as your clothes size for your uniform and a photo for your ID badge.
Initial Screening – 02
We review your application and make a judgement on your suitability for the role based on your past experience, qualifications, and your desire to care for service users. For nurses, we will confirm that you have a valid PIN.
References And Checks – 03
If the screening stage is successful, we will then contact your references to allow for our fast-tracked recruitment process. We also carry out full DBS/PVG checks at this stage to ensure that you are able to work in our client settings.
Welcome Meeting – 04 We then organize a virtual Welcome Meeting with a member of our recruitment. The meeting will be more of an informal chat to access your alignment with our core value and learn more about your experience, skills, qualifications, and future goals. It is during this meeting we will also ask you to show us your ID documents.
Introductory Training – 05 These are internal and external trainings. Some of the trainings are mandatorily physical training while others are virtual.
Welcome To GoHire – 06 once you’ve booked your first shift, we’ll send a Welcome Box straight to your door, with your ID badge, uniform, and a selection of thoughtful items to support you on your journey.
